Welcome to Hydesville Tower School; it is my privilege to be the Headteacher of such an exciting place of learning. As parents and carers, we all want the very best for our children. It is crucial that they are encouraged to fulfil their academic potential; but of equal importance is their preparation for the everchanging world beyond education, a world presenting both challenges and opportunities.
Here at Hydesville Tower School, we are a happy community in which everyone can do and be their best. Hydesville Tower School was ranked in top 25 on The Times Parent Power League Tables for 2025. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and to have had the exceptional work of our pupils and staff recognised in such a prestigious publication.
We were placed in the ‘Top fee paying schools with no sixth form’ category. Only the top 1,600 schools across the country feature in the guide, which was compiled based on examination results - a huge accolade for us at Hydesville.

Our Year 4s visited Aldridge Church Centre for the amazing multi-sensory trail “Christmas Through the Keyhole” — and it was truly something special! 🌟
They peeked through keyholes, explored different characters’ homes, and uncovered clues that brought the Nativity story to life in the most fun and memorable way. 🐑🏠👀

Last Friday was an action-packed science spectacular for Year 8 and Year 9! 🦕✨
Our adventure kicked off at the Natural History Museum, where pupils met animatronic dinosaurs and stood beneath the iconic blue whale soaring over Hintze Hall. They took on the earthquake simulator, explored roaring volcanoes, and came face-to-face with dodoes, mammoths and the wonders of evolution. The journey into the Earth’s crust (via that epic escalator!) was a definite highlight. 🌋🌍
Then it was off to the Science Museum for a 3D trip to the NASA Space Station, followed by hands-on chaos and curiosity in Wonderlab. Year 8 even managed to create their own lightning in the electricity zone — proper Frankenstein vibes! ⚡🧪
A brilliant, high-energy day bursting with discovery, excitement and unforgettable moments. Bring on the next adventure!

We want to celebrate a powerful act of kindness and generosity shown by the Amin family, Bahia family and the Nar family — all in loving memory of Raheel ❤️
This year, they continued their beautiful tradition of giving by donating toys to Councillor Sally Green, who is hosting a Christmas party for 300 deprived children. Their contribution will help bring joy, excitement, and smiles to so many young faces during a time when it’s needed most.
What makes this gesture even more meaningful is the love behind it. By giving in Raheel’s honour, they are keeping his caring spirit alive and allowing his legacy to touch hundreds of children. It is a tribute filled with compassion, hope, and heart.
