Meet our Headteacher
Welcome to Hydesville Tower School; it is my privilege to be the Headteacher of such an exciting place of learning. As parents and carers, we all want the very best for our children. It is crucial that they are encouraged to fulfil their academic potential; but of equal importance is their preparation for the everchanging world beyond education, a world presenting both challenges and opportunities.
Here at Hydesville Tower School, we are a happy community in which everyone can do and be their best. We pride ourselves on providing a breath-taking array of opportunities, not only within our traditional academic curriculum but also throughout our extensive extra-curricular and enrichment programmes.

🕰️ Last week, our pupils stepped back into Victorian Britain for a workshop full of the good, the bad and the gory!
From deadly diseases and strange superstitions to strict school rules and harsh punishments, pupils discovered what life was really like in Victorian times. They even played traditional Victorian games and explored how overcrowding and poor hygiene affected people’s lives.
An unforgettable hands-on experience that truly brought history to life. 👏 #Victorian #history

We are delighted to celebrate Jasmine in Year 7, who has been awarded 2nd Place nationally in the @isaartsuk Handwriting Competition 2026! 🖋️✨
Competing in the Year 7–9 category against pupils from independent schools across the UK, Jasmine was also one of the youngest pupils to be awarded — an incredible achievement. She was absolutely ecstatic to discover how well she had done, and so are we!
Congratulations, Jasmine. Your hard work, dedication and talent have truly shone through, and the whole school community is extremely proud of you. 🌟
