Welcome to Hydesville Tower School; it is my privilege to be the Headteacher of such an exciting place of learning. As parents and carers, we all want the very best for our children. It is crucial that they are encouraged to fulfil their academic potential; but of equal importance is their preparation for the everchanging world beyond education, a world presenting both challenges and opportunities.
Here at Hydesville Tower School, we are a happy community in which everyone can do and be their best. We pride ourselves on providing a breath-taking array of opportunities, not only within our traditional academic curriculum but also throughout our extensive extra-curricular and enrichment programmes.

The Times Parent Power League Tables 2025
Hydesville Tower School was ranked in top 25 on The Times Parent Power League Tables for 2025. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and to have had the exceptional work of our pupils and staff recognised in such a prestigious publication.
We were placed in the ‘Top fee paying schools with no sixth form’ category. Only the top 1,600 schools across the country feature in the guide, which was compiled based on examination results - a huge accolade for us at Hydesville.

🎶✨ Since being crowned Walsall’s Young Music Star earlier this year, Priya in Year 11 has continued to receive recognition for her incredible musical talent.
Following her winning performances, Priya attracted attention from local MPs, leading to a personal tour of Parliament and even a letter from Kensington Palace 👏🏽👑
As part of her prize, Priya also received a voucher and will have the opportunity to perform at events across Walsall over the coming year, including the Bandstand Bonanza at Walsall Arboretum on Sunday 5th July @walsallmusic 🎻🌳
We are incredibly proud to see Priya’s success continue beyond the competition and look forward to seeing where her musical journey takes her next! 🌟

Huge congratulations to our Year 9 and Year 10 pupils for their fantastic achievements in the UK Bebras Coding Challenge! 💻👏
Our pupils earned Distinction, Merit, and Participation certificates, showing impressive problem-solving, computational thinking, and resilience throughout the national competition organised by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and the University of Oxford.

On Friday, we celebrated our amazing Year 11 pupils as they marked the end of their journey at Hydesville. 🎓✨
From shirt signing with fellow pupils and teachers to a special leavers’ lunch and a memorable assembly, the day was full of laughter, memories, and celebration. Throughout it all, our pupils showed kindness, encouragement, and respect — qualities we are incredibly proud of.
