Senior Pupil Voice

Over the past few years, Senior Pupil Voice has made a striking contribution to our school. Although the pandemic has put a halt to most things, pupils and their opinions remain unaffected.

It is important that children here at Hydesville are actively involved with decision making and initiatives aimed at improving school life for all pupils throughout the school community.

Young people develop their confidence through their experience of an inclusive right respecting school community, play an active role in their learning and speak and act for the rights of all to be respected locally and globally.

Democratic elections take place each year during the Autumn Term and they decide on a representative for each form group.  The representative gathers feedback and suggestions from the members of their form and discusses them at scheduled Pupil Voice meetings.  Once discussed, these suggestions are then passed onto the Senior Leadership Team for review.

Congratulations to all pupils who have been successful, here they are….
