Please contact us and request a copy of the Travel Options booklet which details all the services available to families from the School Office.  The options available to our families are as follows:

School Bus Service

We currently operate four bus services to bring pupils safely and promptly to and from school. Parents who use the service are able to avoid rush hour congestion. The routes are regularly reviewed and new stops added to meet the needs of our families.

• Cost: £442 per term return journey, £245 per term single journey
• Sibling and short journey discount available
• CCTV in all buses
• Professional and fully trained drivers (DBS checked)

Alternative Parking & Transport Options

In addition to the school mini-bus service we offer a number of parking and transfer options, which are detailed as follows:

Lower Rushall Street Park & Ride

We offer a FREE shuttle bus service to all pupils from Nursery to Year 11 (inclusive) at the beginning and end of the day. Due to space restrictions the bus is only able to transport pupils.

Arboretum extension Park & Ride

Parents are encouraged to use the public car park in the Arboretum extension and use a FREE shuttle bus service we provide at the beginning and end of the day.  Due to space restrictions the bus is only able to transport pupils. This service is available for pupils from Reception to Year 11 (inclusive).

Park & Stride

We actively encourage families to use the FREE parking spaces in Arboretum Road and Buchanon Road when dropping off and collecting their children.  Both locations are within a short walk of school.

Cycle racks

For those older children who wish to cycle to school we do offer secure cycle storage on the school grounds, with access from the Arboretum gate or Broadway North.

Parent vehicle access to the School Grounds

Vehicle access to the school grounds is restricted to authorised vehicles* only. Contact the school for more details.

On-site access hours are as follows:

Morning: until 8.15am the inside inner gates are open for drop off (subject to capacity).

8.15am – 8.30am on-site access is restricted to authorised vehicles* only.

8.30am – 9am the car park is closed to parents. Reserved for mini-bus access only.

Afternoon: 3.30pm – 4pm the car park is closed to parents. Reserved for mini-bus access only.

From 5pm onwards the inside inner gates are open for pick up (subject to capacity).

Parent parking is not permitted on the Headmaster’s drive.

* Authorised vehicles include: All Nursery parents, parents with special access requirements and parents who are dropping off or collecting their children from the Before and After School Wrap-Around Care service. This DOES NOT INCLUDE after school sports clubs and activities. Please contact the school for more information.

Advisory – Good Neighbours

We appreciate that, like most schools, the area surrounding our site can become very busy during the school run. We are ever grateful to our neighbours for their patience and support and politely request that parents always consider our neighbours when parking.

Advisory – Red Route

The school is located on a main road and parents are advised not to stop on the clearly designated red route.
