Across School teaching of Nazi Germany

As part of their study of Germany during the inter-war years, Year 9 pupils created an exhibition to teach pupils in Year 6 about life during the Nazi regime.

Classes 9A and 9B were in competition with each other to create their exhibitions, and Year 6 were to judge which one was best at meeting the success criteria they had set themselves (informative, engaging, well presented and considerable effort applied).

The exhibitions included films made by students, role plays, on line quizzes and potato peel soup for visitors to try.

Year 6 were a fantastic audience, fully engaged in the activities and asking insightful questions about how the Nazis controlled Germany.

Well done to both Year 9 classes for creating two different but equally interesting and informative exhibitions and well done to 9B who were declared winners by Year 6!
