We are the Maths Champions!
We are very excited to announce that our Year 4 Math’s team of Avnie-Mae, Safin, Jasveer and Viren won the King Edwards School (KES) Maths Competition yesterday!
Our fearsome foursome took on teams from eight other independent schools from across the region, proving themselves as worthy winners, performing brilliantly and representing Hydesville incredibly well.
The teacher from The Shrubbery, who worked with our team during the competition, said that the children did an excellent job of working as a team.
They also had the chance to take part in a maths lesson led by a teacher from KES, and then a talk on shapes delivered by Katie from Think Maths.
Well done to you all; what a fantastic achievement!
