Learning about Lunar New Year

Being part of a multi-cultural school community, we encourage our pupils to respect and value diversity and show respect for and appreciation of their own and other cultures.

Celebrating religious and cultural events is one of the ways we do this, so on Friday Reception children learnt about the Lunar New Year. They were taught how to use chopsticks, made lanterns, and decorated their own dragon.
