Kind Prep School’s Foodbank collection
Kind hearted children in Prep School have been busy bringing donations from home and we have collected a fantastic amount of food to take to our local Foodbank in Walsall.
The collection follows a recent assembly during which our Pupil Voice representatives talked about the work of foodbanks and how they support in the local community.
We learnt about how foodbanks help vulnerable individuals and families in crisis through the provision of three days’ emergency food supplies while a longer-term solution is developed. The services they provide have an enormous impact on the people who use them, giving them an important breathing space at a time of great need.
If you would still like to make a donation, we will be collecting until Wednesday 12th December. We particularly need tinned and dried foods, toiletries and baby products.
