Exam stress advice for GCSE pupils

GCSE exams will start on Monday 15th May, so Miss Nijjar would like to pass on the following message to pupils.

“Around 875 school days ago our current Year 11s set foot in our Senior School; fresh faced, nervous, excited Year 7 pupils. It is hard to believe how quickly time has gone by.   It has been a long journey with the usual ups and downs of school life, but here we are on the eve of the final examination window.

“From Monday morning and over the next six weeks, pupils will sit their GCSE examinations when all their hard work will come to fruition. On behalf of all the staff and pupils, we wish them the very best of luck with their examinations and we look forward to celebrating their success in August.

“We recognise that examinations can of course be a stressful time for parents and pupils.  The NSPCC has published some helpful advice which can be accessed below.  See here for more information. Please also see our blog piece for more advice for parents on helping your child with revision.  Click here for more information.”
