DofE Bronze expedition – done!
A huge congratulations to 17 of our Year 11 pupils who have now completed the expedition element of their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
The intrepid group spent last weekend trekking through Cannock Chase, covering at least six hours of walking each day and camped overnight in tents. They were able to put what they had learnt from their planning sessions in school where they were split into small groups, with each team planning their route and organising their own expedition.
It was a tough couple of days but they all completed the mission! Miss Eynon and Miss Crump were proud of you all. Thank you to the teachers who helped out during the weekend too. You were all fab!
