Brownie sale raises money for charity
A big well done to a group of pupils in Year 4 who have raised an impressive £76.45 for charity by baking and selling chocolate brownies in school.
The kind hearted bunch came up with the idea to bake and sell brownies themselves and they chose local charity Acorns Children’s Hospice to donate the proceeds to.
Year 4 pupil Jaydeep Kachala said: “My friends and I wanted to do something to help raise money for Acorns. We decided to make brownies at home and then sell them at break time and lunchtime. Everyone loved them, and even Mr McGinnes bought some. They all sold really well, so next time we’ll bake more!”
