Meet our Headmaster

Meet our Headmaster, Mr Warren Honey, who is committed to ensuring Hydesville is a happy school, full of discovery, learning and opportunity.

Welcome to Hydesville Tower School, where remarkable things happen every day.

The choice of school for a child is an important decision, so I thank you for taking the time to consider what Hydesville offers. It is by providing a safe and happy community that we ensure children are best-placed to enjoy their time at school. This last aspect can be overlooked too easily: it is children who are positively motivated at school who will engage most effectively in their learning, who will develop a breadth and depth of co-curricular interests and activities, and who will have the supportive relationships around them to cope with life’s challenges.

Hydesville achieves this for its pupils by appreciating the importance of each individual. Talented and committed teachers inspire a love of learning from Nursery at the start of journey, to the completion of GCSE examinations at the end. We nurture their development through high aspirations in small classes, so every child experiences personalised learning, enabling them to reach and exceed their potential.

Outstanding pastoral care gives support to every child, so they develop and mature into remarkable young people. This gives them the confidence to flourish in music, sport, creative and performing arts, all of which are valued at Hydesville. In addition, our diverse enrichment provision illustrates the importance of developing the character to thrive in the wider world.

The strongest indicator of a school is its pupils. At Hydesville, they are true ambassadors, and illustrate all that is wonderful about this community.

It would be a pleasure to welcome you in person to the school, so you can experience for yourself what a Hydesville education offers your child.

The standard of education our son receives is fantastic, but more importantly he is happy at school as the level of pastoral care is so high.
