Give pupils the opportunity to develop their understanding on a range of topics relevant to ever day life. Pupils are encouraged to develop critical analysis skills and evaluate new information, with a strong emphasis on independent learning.
Aim

Structure
KS4 Pupils study five areas, focusing on such topics as criminal behaviour, the development and use of non-verbal communication, phobias, obedience and the denial of responsibility.
Assessment takes the form of 3 modules:
Modules 1 and 2 consist of two written exam papers covering the five central approaches.
Module 3 is a written paper focusing on the pupil's individual approach to investigating a particular area of psychology.
