The overwhelming opinion of staff and pupils is that this development is a wonderful environment for teaching and learning. Hydesville Site Expands as 33 Opens

We opened today! On target and looking amazing, we are so proud of our new development. The ground floor consists of a German teaching room containing an interactive whiteboard and also a new ICT suite for our Senior School pupils. The first floor is dedicated to a French teaching room. All the rooms are light and airy and the new furniture looks very much ‘at home’ in these surroundings. I wonder what our pupils will make of it.

Work commences to transform no 33

Enormous progress is being made in this exciting development. There is still some carpentry to complete, such as skirting boards, doors and architraves but all the rooms are now taking shape. Work-stations in the new ICT suite are just about to go in as all the data-cabling is now complete. Internal decoration is still being completed and the rooms are wonderfully light. The conversion of No. 33 is going well...

The conversion of No. 33 is going well and on target for completion on 14th May. All demolition work is now complete with drainage, water, gas and electricity all in place. Colours and furnishings have been decided on and orders have been placed. We have gone for the corporate colour look. There will be a two week period at the end of the contract to install the new furniture and interactive white boards etc. with the move happening during half term in June being in full use from 7th June....
