Congratulations to the class of 2013
For the second consecutive year 100 per cent of Hydesville's GCSE pupils have achieved five or more A*-C grades - compared to 68.1 per cent across the UK. In addition almost a third of the grades for Hydesville pupils were A*/A.
Ben Slade, Cognita Schools Group Education Executive, praised the school for more than doubling the number of A*/A grades this year and for securing 100 per cent A*-C in:
- Business & Communication Studies
- English Literature
Mr Slade said: “96 per cent of Maths students and 92 per cent of English students also gained top grades which is a real success, especially given the tougher exam system this year.
"Thank you to the Head of Senior School, Miss Nijjar, and her team of dedicated teaching professionals. The significant improvement in top grades is testament to their enthusiastic and meticulous approach to personalised teaching and learning.”
