Every parent is welcome to arrange and discuss their child's progress and any concerns they have.

We as staff believe in positive relationships with parents, carers, therefore our door is always open.  Here at Hydesville Nursery it is very important to us as staff to have an "open door " policy. Our open door policy invites you to come and spend any part of your child's day with us. Cooperation between home and school offers security for your children whilst attending our Nursery. We feel that daily interaction with parents and teachers is VERY important as it allows parents to stay informed and updated on the progress of their children.

We provide all our parents with regular newsletters that give you information about your child's week within the Nursery, it contains important news, events, dates and other relevant information.

We have a PTFA (Parent, Teachers, Friends, Association who meet and hold regular meetings who put on regular events for both teachers and parents to attend and raise funds for the school.

We hold regular parents evening to discuss your child's progress and development, and here it also gives you another chance to raise any concerns (if any).

At the end of the Nursery year a written report is also sent out showing your child's progress and what they like to do within the setting.

We provide parent craft sessions where parents are invited to come into the setting where your child then begins to give you a tour of the Nursery and their interest, this helps you as parents to get an insight to how the Nursery works and reassures you that your child is settled within an excellent friendly environment.
